Hey everyone!
Im new on here and i've just recently found out im pregnant for the first time so I just thought that i'd join mumsnet after it being so highly recommended! :)
Anyone else got any reasons why they joined?

I jined with my last pregnancy. I find it useful for support, information, ideas, my silly or not so silly questions being answered and good for parenting advice too.

Hi congrats too. I found MN invaluable in my first trimester before anyone really knew. As I didn't have anyone with experience of pregnancy around me I just came on here to find out answers to all the weird & wonderful hings tat happen during pregnancy. It's also amusing to read people's rants about life in general :o

Welcome buzzing :) I only found this forum last week, but it's great for giving you ideas, making you chuckle, and answering lots of questions that you never knew you had/don't know who to ask but want to know the answer to anyway. It's also quite useful for the odd rant or two later on in pg!

If you can get your hands on 'Pegnancy: the Mumsnet Guide' I would really recommend it - it's frank, irreverant and very very funny. I've been chuckling over it all weekend.

Congratulations. Im sort of new too, you'll be addicted before long. Everyone is great and so supportive. I'm a first timer too, when r u due?xx

hi welcome and congrats buzzing hehe!! bet your all excited! Mumsnet is great - even to just be lurker because guaranteed there will be someone on here thats got a similar problem / issue / moan / giggle as you! And if not then someone will always try to help! Lots of invaluable advice and hand holding!

I joined two years ago when I fell pregnant with my daughter,
and didn't really have any pregnant friends or friends with children.

Of course they're all having kids now!

I'm nearly 15wks pregnant so am back again. Congratulations :)
