Oh dear, woken in a sweat and panic lol because yes ladies I'm concerned about the state of my fandango. Pregnancy unplanned and ex partner had a low sex drive anyway do the maintainanence and upkeep went out of the window a long time ago. Now I have a dating scan on Thursday... Possibly internally. So sorry to be crude or make you squirm but what's acceptable and what's not :)

I think it's unlikely that your dating scan will be internal, unless it is really early.
I have had an internal on a prev pregnancy and the sonographer did not even look down there, she obviously knew where to go based on my position.
Plus, I doubt they would care or comment if they did need to look.

Like bun baby said, unless its very early its unlikely to be internal. However, if it is I would say they would have seen most things. Acceptable = clean I reckon :)

SpottyTeacakes · 13/05/2012 09:10

Pfft seriously once you've had your baby you will never care what it looks like down there for a nurse/dr as long as its clean.

Internal only likely before about eight weeks I reckon. I had a scan at nine weeks and it wasn't internal.

Have had two internals this time and like previous poster they didn't even look Smile

As soon as I couldn't see it anymore with my DD I gave up caring, so goodness only knows what the MW (& consultant) were looking at when they were labouring/stitching me!!! Grin
