what is it? what are the active ingredients?

treacletart · 15/02/2006 19:46

I'm fairly sure its safe. There's no mention on the website of it not being safe in pregnancy. Seems like the active ingredient is levomenthol.

treacletart · 15/02/2006 19:49

found this on another site...
"Do not use if you are sensitive to levomenthol. Do not put in the mouth or swallow. No evidence of associated side-effects has been demonstrated during use in pregnancy or lactation, however no safety data for such use is available. The levomenthol in 4head may cause hypersensitivity including contact dermatitis. For external use only. Keep out of the sight and reach of children."

HTH

you can take small amounts of codeine when pg

but tbh if paracetamol isnt helping I would go to your gp

Kbaby, not being funny here but are you drinking enough? You could be dehydrated, especially since the amniotic fluid is replensihed every 45 mins in late pregnancy (I don't know how far along you are obviously! ) If I remember rightly it can be a sign of other things (high blood pressure) that are important too. Might be worth ringing your midwife and getting yourself checked out.

Hope you're well soon.

Thanks. Im only 16 weeks so it could be all the hormones. Im certaintly drinking plenty as its all I do in work out of boredom.
I just wish they would stop as I feel terrible all day.
