After feeling relieved at having missed the spotting that made my pregnancy with dc1 so stressful, I have had brown (well, beige really) cervival fluid today on wiping. :(

I'm 6+3, and having had horrendous sickness up to today, feel not too bad either.

Currently cacking my pants. Referred to epu for a scan on monday morning, but would really appreciate some happy outcomes for similar situations (I don't count!).

Slightly uncomfortable feeling at times in lower tummy, but no cramps, and no red, but the loss of symptoms coupled with the mucus has me terrified.

I had brown gunk when pregnant with my DS at about 7 ish weeks. Panicked, cried a bit, panicked some more.

He's 19 months now so turns out there was no need to panic.

Hope all is well!

I had this too. Mine was, according to EPAU, the result of bruising from implantation, and it coming away in the form of old blood. Much hand holding though.

I has pale pink barely there fluid at 6 weeks went into a flight of panic due to a previous M/C but am currently 29 weeks going strong. I think the general school of thought is brown is old blood , I didnt have any more after the first episode . As hard as it sounds don't panic although I know how good it felt when I saw that little flickering heart at 7 week scan xx

I had pink (borderline red) streaked cervical fluid this week, had scan this morning and baby looking fine at 8+3. Try not to worry, good luck xx

I had brown blood at almost exactly 6+3 too.. panicked... but it was all fine - saw heartbeat. Am now 16+1.

Positive thoughts + + + +

In my first pregnancy I had bleeding from 5 to 11 weeks. In 2nd it was 6 to 9. I know what you mean about the stress because it feels wrong but I think for some people bleeding in pregnancy is just part of their body's reaction.

BuntyCollocks · 11/05/2012 20:02

Thank you all. I think I may just have bleeding with pregnancy as brett said, but it's still worrying. With dc1, I didn't have any symptoms to lose, but with the sickness this time round, it's felt even more worrying when the spotting has been accompanied by a rare day of diminished nausea and no puking!

I had this with both my boys at the 6-9 week mark 5 and 7 now. Smile

With DC1 I went to my 12 week scan to be told that I was actually at about 19 weeks. Turns out, what I'd thought was AF had actually been bleeding at 6-7 weeks pregnant. He's 3 now.
I think it's pretty common.
