I have just been to the loo and I am sure there was a couple of spots of red there. I have no pains as such - no more than normal although over the last 4 days when the baby kicks it actually hurts.

I am on my own until later tonight with dd as dh is working but not sure whether to do anything yet or just monitor if there is any more red (blood?) then over the next couple of hours - I am 28 weeks BTW.

Its probaby nothing but if I was you i would probaby give my midwife a ring just to put your mind at rest if nothing else.

Best of luck

i had some spotting when i wiped and had very bad stomach pains, thought i was going to have another mc. it turns out it was a water infection but you need to get checked out. also have you been constipated? it could be piles. phone the hospital to see what they say but hopefully it's nothing to do with baby.

Serendippity · 15/02/2006 16:58

Hun, phone your midwife and get checked. Just for reassurance, I'm sure you'll both be fine. let us know how you go xxx

hope all is ok. maybe you have just overdone things a bit? take care x

mummy23 · 15/02/2006 20:06

how are you helsi?

helsi · 15/02/2006 21:07

delivery suite told me to monitor it (as there wasn't much) over the next couple of hours. If I get any more or if I get pains then I have to acll them straight back.

Hope it turns out to be nothing. At least you have spoken to MW so know what you should do.
Is your DH home now?

Marne · 15/02/2006 21:13

Hope all is ok, i have had a lot of bleeds with this pg, i'm 36 weeks, all have turned out to be nothing to do with the baby. Fingers crossed for you.

helsi · 15/02/2006 21:25

Marne - what did they do? were you admitted to hospital or just told to wait and see?

I had to go in because i my blood group is B-, last time they did'nt do much, they checked me over and checked baby's heartbeat etc, the time before they gave me a scan to check for blood around the baby.
