Hi,
I'm 5.5 weeks pregnant (1st pregnancy) and the sickness and tiredness I had last week has now gone, which is concerning me. I don't feel particularly pregnant at all, apart from some intermittent stomach cramps and a bit of moodiness. I did another test yesterday and it was still positive... is this feeling normal? Does morning sickness etc kick in later? Worrying myself silly about miscarrying for some reason or there being no heartbeat.
Any reassurance/advice greatly appreciated!!

Hello - Try not to worry:) All pregnancies are different, and you may be one of the lucky ones who does not 'feel' pregnant. With my first I felt fine - not one day of sickness, or tiredness - not a thing! I did not feel pregnant at all, in fact i felt great. I am on my 2nd now, and very early on (must have been 5/6 weeks I had cramps and went to the doc, who said it would be the embryo attaching to the lining, or something like that - I can't remember the exact details. I then had some sickness and tiredness kick in slightly later on, but it only lasted a couple of weeks - not sure if it has anything to do with morning sickness, but each pregnancy is a different sex. You only have 2.5 weeks till your booking in appoint (our MWs do it at 8 weeks) so write a list of all questions to ask her. Don't be scared to book in to see them if you are worried. Sure all will be fine:) Enjoy this time, and good luck with the rest of the 'magical' (ahem) time!
