What could baby be possibly doing to cause this. It feels like I've got a wasp stuck in my pants Shock

No idea but my pelvis vibrates & buzzes (not pg) from time to time. I often think it is my phone and reach in a pocket to find it, only to realise that my phone is in another room Hmm

It's the most weird sensation isn't it.

I've googled but can't find anything to explain it.

Omg I thought I was having major issues - I'm 18 weeks & I have the same sensation, kinda feels like a wheel turning (random I know, but that's the only way I can describe it!

I think it's a nerve thing. Someone once explained it to me. Will see if I can find a link. Yours might be different though, being PG. Might be worth mentioning it at next appointment?

McPhee · 08/05/2012 21:38

Yep, after extensive googling it seems to be baby laying on a nerve.

Baby might need to be shifted a bit if it carries on Blush

It is a nerve thing, I get it too (not currently pregnant)

feesh · 09/05/2012 05:58

Mosschops, that's one of the funniest things I've ever read!

Could also be a 'thrill' which is a medical term for turbulent blood flow that you can feel. Not surprising as you have increased blood flow and something compressing the blood vessels in pregnancy. Often described by people with big fibroids.
