Transverse lie - what does it feel like?

Morning all

Last night (3am!) I got a couple of prods low down and very much to one side...(quite exciting as I've only had the one prod at a time so far!) then when I got up this morning and on the way to work I felt 'pressure' on either side of my uterus. Not painful but noticable.

This has let up now, so does it sound like baby descrided to streach out transverse?

Also when I lent forward yesterday and this morning it felt 'uncomfotable'.

Im 18+5 and anxious lol. I've also got backache which I was expecting at somepoint (history of back problems) but its only really come on last night!

Thanks

GD

At 18+5 you really don't need to worry about how baby is lying, they can roll and flip around all over the place! Even later on, I know when I was pregnant DS was breech for a while and turned himself about 30 weeks - very uncomfortable for me!! But can still happen easily enough for them.

Hey RockChick1984 i'm not really worried just interested to see if the position was what was causing the pressure feeling...

My three have all been persistent transverse babies right up until a week or two before delivery. How does it feel? Bloody uncomfortable!

I don't think it's really noticeable until later on but from about 30 weeks I can't sit down for long without getting huge amounts of pain under my ribs on one side. At least, I assume it's the transverse position that causes the pain but having never had a baby that sits the 'right' way, maybe it's normal??

I had a lot of hip pain on one side with DD who was transverse and then breech until 37 weeks
