Hi

I am roughly 8 weeks gone with a very very much wanted DC2, DP and I have problems conceiving and DS took 14 months this one 20, so very relieved to be Pg.

Anyway I know I should remember this stuff but is loose poo/ diarrhoea normal? I am not having what I would call urgent needs (not like with a bug) just when I do go its pretty much liquid? Sorry that's a bit gross Blush

I'm feeling a bit sick and off food too (didn't with DS) and haven't ha heartburn too bad yet so I've obviously realised that each pg Is different, but I'm a bit scared diarrhoea is a bad sign Confused

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I had diarrhoea on & off throughout second pg ( having not at all with ds1) and I'm now sitting here feeding 5 day old ds2 Smile

Mw told me it's normal when I asked her as I was also concerned.

The hormones are going crazy at this stage. I get really constipated in first trimester! I guess that if you are feeling OK otherwise, as in no temp etc it isn't a tummy bug.
I'm sure it is just your body doing what it need to do.
And morning sickness varies from pregnancy to pregnancy, and I think heartburn tends to kick in a little later?
I have certainly never heard of diarrhoea being a bad sign...Smile

Yes normal - can go either way in my experience, and loose is better than constipated!

I had diarrhea in the first few weeks now that I am 14 weeks it shifts between normal and constipation. According to mw, it is normal.
