Have just caught my DH (who thus far has been very quiet about plans for our new arrival) downloading drum and bass remixes of various nursery tunes.

Not the most practical contribution I realise, but very cute! Anyone else?

Awwww that's cute :) My DP gave me a cuddle yesterday and described it as a group hug :)

Mine goes and stands in the nursery every night before bed. He doesn't say anything, he just stands there for a minute and then comes and gets into bed :)

My DH set up the bouncy chair in the nursery and put a teddy in it with a blanket wrapped around the base just to see what it would look like, I found it the next morning and my heart melted.

My DP calls our baby 'his baby within his baby' :)

PestoPenguin · 07/05/2012 21:12

Aw, so cute Smile.

DH did all sorts of really sweet things the first two times. Last time I don't remember any, and this time I had to ask him to feel the baby kick, as he had shown not the slightest interest Sad. I think we just have so much else going on looking after the older DCs, work, housework etc that the whole pregnancy mystique thing is long gone

My DH has been nesting in his own way, by insisting on throwing everything away that isn't baby related to make spade for baby and washing teddies! I've had to rescue a few sentimental bits!!! He also named the bump!

Maxed out our 401 (k) retirement account.Grin

OK, OK, I know that isn't everyone's notion of adorable, but I love him for it (and will appreciate riding off into the sunset with him when they've all left home....)

lalabaloo · 08/05/2012 03:17

Aww hippieshake that brought a tear to my eye!

Ozziegirly · 08/05/2012 06:15

My DH refers to me as "the two of you" ("would the two of you like a tea and biscuit?").

Before we had our first, I came home one day to find that he had set up the cot and put our bear in there to test it out.

Mine wrote a poem after the 18 week scan about welcoming his baby into the outside world, having seen her insides before seeing her face. It made me cry (in a good way). Smile

Hippieshake - that is wonderful Smile

gardenpixies32 · 08/05/2012 08:31

Mine always gives me 3 kisses when he leaves for work and comes home. One for me and one for each twin. I love it, every time!

I caught DH trying to put tights on a teddy Grin he was trying to work out how to do it.

hippieshake · 08/05/2012 08:52

I must admit he is a cutie, he's very excited :)
