I'm 10 weeks pregnant, this is my 5th pregnancy, I've had two miscarriages and two beautiful children. Yesterday morning I woke up to bleeding, and a dull ache in my tummy. It only lasted a couple of hours and then tailed off. It's now stopped completely but my midwife has booked me for a scan this afternoon anyway to put my mind at ease. I'm so so scared this is another mmc. Has anyone had bleeding at 10 weeks and all has been ok? I don't want to give myself false hope, but need something to get me through the rest of the day until my scan! Im so nervous I feel physically sick.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

No experience of it myself, but just wanted to wish you luck for the scan. Is this similar to what you experienced with the other 2 miscarriages you've been through? I hope it all works out ok for you.

I had light bleeding at about 8 weeks which just lasted for a few hours - I am now the size of a house and due in July. I do hope that all is well - I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you x

Thank you both. This isn't like my previous mc or mmc so I'm hoping beyond hope that it's nothing to worry about. Xx

I had a bleed at about 9 weeks, Lasted 24 hours and was sure I had miscarried. Now 37+5, it was fine. Midwife wasn't too worried as there was no pain.

It's reassuring to hear people have gone on to continue the pregnancy after a bleed. It's so nerve wracking though isn't it! I see blood and automatically think that's it's coming to an end. Gosh I hate being a worry wart! I'm anxious enough most of the time without having a bleed to add some extra stress.

A lady I was on a conception and pg thread with recently found out she's 12 weeks, not the 8 she thought. She had a 4 day normal 'period', followed by a HSG, all while not knowing she was pg.

These little beans can stick in there through all sorts. Though a bleed must be very scary, it doesn't have to mean the worst. Good luck.

I bled at 11 weeks. A huge, gush all over the floor bleed which continued like a heavy period for two days. I then had brown bleeding but only when I wiped for about 2 weeks after that. I never had any pain but could certainly feel aching.

They found out it was a haematoma which has now considerably shrunk. I'm 26 weeks now and, touch wood, all is okay.

Fingers crossed for the best for you!

Thank you for all the replies. I'm back from my scan now and baby is just fine, and measuring perfect. Big sigh of relief!
