would love to help but am no good at trendy names - my suggestions would all be similar to Tamba's.
Some retro names are making comebacks though...

mumatuks · 14/02/2006 11:38

Asher

mumatuks · 14/02/2006 11:47

I agree with Rory, Sidonie, but I may be slightly biased on that one seeing as I have one!

Rach69 · 14/02/2006 14:01

I've just had a Finn (Irish - Fionn) and the registrar said parents had used it but rarely over the years. I love it and most people's reaction is really positive. Not sure if it's 'trendy' I don't want to be chav-ish! but it is unusual.

MUSA · 14/02/2006 16:22

what about the name KAI.

Nbg · 14/02/2006 16:25

These are my favourites atm

Max
Sterling
Reuben
Lars

Euan.

This name is associated with good looks, artistic and musical talent and a sociable nature that will make him the most popular boy and toddlers'.

Oh Yes..........

jodie1984 · 14/02/2006 17:16

my nephew is called ashton very nice, ds is declan

PeachyClair · 14/02/2006 17:26

NBG

up to you of course, but ds2 is Stirling, with an I.

Great name!

Others are Samuel and Harry (Harold), like Abraham, George, Darwin also. Will change by tomorrow I suspect!

ernest · 14/02/2006 17:28

Aidan? Simon? Peter? All uncommon, tho' familiar without being unusual anmd 'made up'. What are you feelings on old/new traditional/trendy modern, made-up names? What sort of thing have you got in mind for girls to give a clue to what you'd fancy for boys?

PeachyClair · 14/02/2006 17:28

OOh just remembered, Uma Thurman's brother is called Dharma... love that (Dh doesn't, though).

It means the way / what is right, depending on whether you look at the HIndu or Buddhist translation.

V V trendy.

Wallace · 14/02/2006 17:43

We are struggling for a boys name too - luckily we have another 5 months!

I like Leo, but dh doesn't because of Tony Blairs son.

TambaTheDragonSlayer · 14/02/2006 17:43
