It's all in the title really, I have lower back pains like period pain. It's not unbearable but it's constant.

In your experience, is it just the baby growing and stuff adjusting?

I'm not really a worrier but can't remember having that with my first.

It is probably just things adjusting and stretching - there is so much potential for aches and pains when you're pg, most of them perfectly harmless. However, I would recommend you phone the midwife and just ask them what they think, to be sure.

I am 20+1 and I've had this over the last couple of weeks. MW told me it was due to my body moving a bit and making adjustments. I've found it quite painful and she recommended I start an antenatal yoga class to help and also sit on a Swiss/birthing ball for an hour a night to help my posture!

im almost 38 weekswith my 3rd baby. never had any back pain with my first two.
This pregnancy, the back pain started early, around 20 weeks.. tried a chiropractor, swimming, sitting on a ball.. nothing...
went to pregnancy yoga, after 3 sessions (3 weeks in a row) my back pain is gone!!! i cannot believe it!!!!!
i did pregnancy yoga with my first two pregnancies so maybe that is why i didnt getback pain then.

each pregnancy it was with a different teacher, so give it a try (or even a pregnancy yoga dvd, but i suspect it is better to go to a class)
