I may FEEL like crap, but I look surprisingly well.
8 weeks in and with all day nausea I can't stomach anything sweet, have had no chocolate since I had BFP, no alcohol and cut right down on caffeine.
These days I'm all about herbal teas, as much fruit as I can eat and snacks are wholemeal toast, a chunk of cheese, handful of nuts, etc. It is like a self-enforced detox, the one I always intended to do to get heathy. Plus I've also been going to bed v early (shortly after DCs 1 and 2) so getting 50% more sleep than normal.
I can't quite equate how ill I feel and yet when I look I the mirror I see this person with clear skin and no bags under my eyes. Clearly it won't last, but I am trying to focus on the positives to get me through each day and to the end of the sicky stage!
