Hi all
I am worried I may have chronic fatigue - I was ill 3 months before falling pregnant with mystery symptoms that my GP put down to anxiety but I didnt think it was anxiety I thought it may be chronic fatigue or ME. I am now pregnant 18 weeks and still feel up and down - some days I can barely move Im that exhausted. How can I tell whats normak for pregnancy and whats not?

Have you had any blood tests, eg for thyroid function/anaemia/vit deficiencies?

I would certainly press for some tests in your position. Tiredness is normal but barely being able to move is not AFAIK.

What minipie said. It's normal to be tired in pregnancy, but if you were feeling shattered before, it should be investigated - decreased thyroid function/anemia/etc can have an impact on your pregnancy, apart from owt else :)

Hi lynlee i could have written your post myself....i was excessively tiered and not feeling right before getting pregnant and now since being pregnant i have felt like absolute shit, nothing like my other pregnancies, have just been down docs for second time this week to get blood tests done as I'm sure its not just morning sickness, so will wait and see what results say....have you found out anything about you and how are you coping now? xx
