I'm 38+4 with DC2 (and getting more & more fed up & grumpy by the day), so need some distraction :)

What time of day did your contractions start with your first baby? Is it usually a night-time thing? Mine started just before bedtime with DC1, 36 hours later she was born :)

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I'm 11wks with DC#2 & dug out my preg diary from 1st time around yesterday...

I had written that I had period-pain type cramps late morning, the show just after midday, 10mins between contractions from 2pm, I was only 1cm by 8pm but back in hospital and admitted at 10.20pm at 9cm. DD was born at 00.42. :)

Don't remember having any pains the night before & didn't notice any BH at all throughout. Weird.

First DC my contractions started around 4pm the evening before, got strong about 5am, she was born at 6pm. (40+1)

DC2 my waters broke first at 7am, contractions started around 11am, born at 5pm (39+0)

DC3 woke up to first contraction at 2am, didnt get strong until 7am, born at 8.45am (39+0)

I don't think there is any pattern there Confused

started about 3am I think with DS - definitely remember it was the middle of the night, and sitting downstairs with the alarm clock trying to time them and not disturb DH.

Mine started at 11pm on the Sunday night and DD was born at 2.35am on the Thursday morning :( Took bloody ages!

I started having contractions on a Wednesday just after lunch.

I only gave birth to DS on Saturday at 7:10pm!
