cant understand nuchal test form any ideas?

I had my nuchal scan today and unlike last time, because I have to have the blood test the lady wouldnt help me see the nuchal fold measurement on the sheet. There is CRL 64.0MM and NT 1.8mm.....

is the NT nuchal and does anyone know if thats an ok ish measurement? I am haing blood tomorow and will be away next week for a week till results arrive so hoping for a smalll grain of feedback!

Hi. 1.8 is the nuchal measurement and it is is an excellent measurement. I had that measurent and came in with an overall risk of 1 in 1800 which is fab for a 44 year old.
Although there are no guarantees.

oh brilliant, thank you. I dont see why sonographer couldnt have just given me some idea, I know without bloods it isnt totally acurate. wow, a small bit of relief until i get bloods....

CRL is crown rump length I think, which is the length from top of babys head to it's bottom. NT is the nuchal measurement and 1.8 is a good measurement on its own, well within normal range. It will be combined with the blood result and your other stats such as age etc to get an overall risk rating

great!! i can go away without worrying so much now.

Mine would not comment at all without reference to the bloods as they combine the results to give you a risk assessment. You have a great reading but they still combine that with bloods and age to give you overall risk.
