Anyone have lower back pain in early weeks?

I'm only 5 weeks pregnant but have bad lower back pain today (which eases off if i walk about) and I don't remember this in my first pregnancy. Should just add though that I've got a tummy bug which had me throwing up and everything else last night, so might be due to that?!

Anyone else have this though - if it's not due to puking a lot, is it a normal symptom this early on? I don't have any bleeding, although im now constantly checking....

It's very common to have lower back pain in early pregnancy, something about all your muscles relaxing so the bones aren't as supported as they normally are. I'm 3 months gone and am still getting back pain, so don't worry :)

I've had lots of back ache all the way through this pregnancy (15w) so far! I think I read something about it being referred pain from your uterus stretching... But 'twas normal for me Grin

I also had a tightening sort of pain in my lower back from week 4 (ie when I got my bfp), until around week 8. Am 9+3 now and it seems to have gone off a bit now. My GP said it was normal.
