Hi everyone,

I had a funny turn at the weekend after my sexing scan which wiped me for the rest of the weekend. I am so tired and felt I needed a duvet day so have stayed off work today. Feel really bad for doing it now as I'm just sat on the sofa about to watch this morning, I'm not ill just tired.

Anyone else done this? Have I done the right thing? Am expecting ds1 in September btw, am 19 weeks pregnant.

xxxx

Dont feel bad! Enjoy it, I'm also taking a day off due to nausea x

I did this last week cos I was shattered after going to a friend's wedding - and I've not got any work today either! I know what you mean about feeling bad - I feel like a real lazybones sometimes. BUT, I know I am doing a really important job all the time, growing our little miracle, so just keep telling yourself that.

Make sure you enjoy the day you've taken - sleep and chill to your heart's desire and stop feeling guilty - your little one will thank you for looking after yourself and it! Have a choccie biccie and enjoy daytime tv - I'm also watching this morning! x

I was signed off with exhaustion for 2 weeks in my last pregnancy as I'd felt guilty for taking time off. Enjoy the time on the sofa, eat biscuits, watch TV. I'm already planning a little break soon ;0)
