Can hormones make me think i dont want to be with my partner anymore or is this depression?

Since being pregnant and getting horrrible pregnancy symptoms i feel as though me and DP shouldn't be together he doesn't put me first or help enough and i feel so low. How would i know if I'm depressed? I was already constantly tiered before getting pregnant? Just want to feel well again..

I went through a stage of this in my first trimester and suspect I might again as I get closer to delivery. Pregnancy is different for everybody and I certainly wasn't prepared for how my whole body and mind seemed to change overnight.

I definitely had to spell things out to my partner and whilst I don't think he quite understood he did respect how I felt and did his best to support me.

Have you met your midwife yet? I have found mine very supportive and not remotely judgemental if you feel like sharing your feelings with her.

Have you had your thyroid and iron levels checked recently, if you were feeling tired already? Xx

OP have you been able to talk to your GP about how you are feeling?

Feeling tired and down could be hormones or a sign of something a bit deeper but either way you deserve some help and support - if your DP is not able to give you this, then there are other people who could help.

Do you have much other support in RL? Friends, family etc?

I hope you are OK and feel better soon,

X
