Food poisoning panic!

We had a pizza hut take-away last night. Pepperoni. TMI, but I was very, erm, 'windy' afterwards. Didn't think anything of it and then (stupidly) re-heated some leftovers for breakfast this morning (tramp!)

Now have the squits! :( Is this really bad? Could it be toxoplasmosis? Have I deformed my baby?! So panicked!

I'm 26 weeks if it makes any difference?

Babbas it was cooked, so you won't get toxoplasmosis from it - cooked cured meats are fine. It sounds like you have an upset tummy, but nothing serious (trust me, you'd know about it if you had full blown food poisoning). Just drink plenty of liquid and eat stuff that's not too harsh on your tummy :)

I'm sure it's not toxoplasmosis. Isn't that from undercooked meat? Sounds like the pepperoni was doubly cooked! Try not to worry, have some mint tea to calm the stomach

Thanks ladies! It turned out to be a one-off bout. Me? Over-react? Never! Thanks for calming me down in the meantime though! x

dont worry l had under cooked Gammon roast at 32 weeks (hubby trying to be nice bless him) and my baby is completely fine (17wks old and still fast asleep!) TBH the only thing the dr was worried about was me pulling a musle or going into labour early! He gave me some stuff to put in my mouth which would stop me urging!
