Pregnancy journal

Has anyone here kept a pregnancy journal? I really like the idea of doing this because already what I felt like right at the beginning is starting to become fuzzy (and I'm only 13 weeks!). I think it would be useful in any future pregnancies and also for if I ever have a daughter - my mother can remember very little about being pregnant except for maybe the 'bigger' moments later on in the pregnancy.

If you've done this have you done it in a normal notebook or did you buy and Incredibly Expensive pregnancy journal with prompts? (quite like the idea of doing this because it's almost like a countdown too). I saw one in mothercare the other day which looked good but any other recommendations?

Grin I did. I was oh so earnest and serious about it!

But looking back on it - oh god, it was cringy pants!

In fact, I copied it out on here so people could point and laugh.

it's here I was JustHecate then

So funny!

You don't need any special diary, just a normal one. But there are loads available if you'd prefer - ones you can put scan pics in and all that.

I just have a little notebook from Paperchase that I write in when I have appointments or scans. I've put my scan pictures in there, and sometimes I write down if DH and I have gone anywhere for the day. We've been writing down what music we have played to the bump and how often she's been moving etc..

Haha Hecate! I was thinking more along the lines of: week 7- low energy, mild cramps, nausea when hungry.
Less about my feelings or it may start to resemble my diary that I wrote when I was 15, found a couple of years ago and CRINGED at. It had to be shredded immediately Blush

I have 2 and doing one with this pregnancy. They are proper pregnancy journals. I'm so glad I done them in my previous 2 as I totally forgot when I felt movements ect in my 2 previous pregnancies and is nice to look at and compare :)
