cvs....is it 100% ?

I had a cvs and the results came back normal much to my relief. They were also able to tell me the sex. Is this 100% as i know with scans they can get it wrong? Want to go out and buy blue but scared

It's 100% if the result is male - but 99.9% if female (due to the tiny risk that they may have sampled the mother's tissue rather than the placent)...so go buy blue!
