Nandos!

Have any of you eaten at Nandos during pregnancy - do you reckon it's ok? What did you order? Any idea if the mayo they use is pasteurised etc etc?

OP, glad you had an answer to your question, and didnt realise this was in Pregnancy so clicked on the thread thinking it was a general Nandos Appreciation thread I was very excited.

Hope you enjoyed it, I had a few Nandos when pg and it hit the spot.

I am a saddo though and always order the same thing each time: Mango and Lime Chicken breast in a pitta with chips, halloumi and Perinaise.

I could wax lyrical about Perinaise...may be a little addicted to it

BlueRinse you can get 'Mango and Lime' or 'Lemon and Herb' which arent spicy if you arent a fan, I cant even stand the heat of the Mild option.

What do you addicts get from Nandos? I was very unimpressed when I visited.

If you don't like spice you can ask for it 'plain'.. It's still tasty. I can't handle anything with a remote spice to it. You have made one junk-eating pregnant lady now needing a Nandos and needing one now!! I ate it all through my first pregnancy and have already had one already (7 weeks!) ENJOY everyone!!

Fear not, you can also eat sushi as long as it is from a reputable restaurant (like yoo sushi) as the fish has been frozen first. I love the idea of nando's but my DH doesn't like anything on the menu!

I had a top Nandos yesterday! I had a bit of everything .. Twas amazing! Little bean in there has been wanting chicken all the time recently !!
