Hey all unfortunately I'm a moaner and shall be boring you all with my many aislements (how ever you spell it)
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with a very low cervix? Iv got a prolapse so thought I'd investigate a lil (as you do) and was shocked to find my cervix about a fingertip in and it was def my cervix would it effect the pregnancy in any way? With it being so low I'm assuming it's more vulnerable and oinky boinkies is most def off the cards. Just wanted to see if anyone could shed some light on the subject really

Dont Panic!
I have a bladder and cervix prolapse. Mine normally is 2 inch from opening.

i admit the first 10 weeks were scary it got a little lower and ached a bit. but you know what im almost 12 weeks now and my cervix is at least 3-4inch up at the min. I had heard when uterus gets big enough it holds everything in place and obviously 12 weeks is that point.

I get cervical erosion a bit. Where sometimes with a bowel movement i spot from my cervix for a day. Nothing to worry about.

With regards to sex even though my cervix is so low i have managed fine albeit very nervously. Apparently as long as your aroused you vagina elongates and your cervix goes higher. I have never spotted after sex.

I have been warned i may need surgery after baby is born but you know what i will have two children and it doesnt bother me.

Anyways dont panic i have been told that prolapse does not cause miscarriage or incompetant cervixes.

xxxxx
