...midwife told me not to worry because there's plenty of time for it to move, but unfortunately worrying is what I'm good at. Any tips on what I can start doing (or stop doing) to get it in a better position?

dc2 turned at 38 weeks, dc3 turned at 34. Dont worry, you will get checked and scanned and poked and prodded until it does, and if not then there is acupuncture, turning and other fun bits to look forwards to! Honestly dont worry!! In the best scenario you get some extra scans where they check babys position which is always fun!

1st dd was transverse(sideways) til 38 weeks and i'm now 32 weeks with dd2 who is breech at the moment but midwife will not start discxussing options til 36/37 weeks so don't panic
