Craving macdonalds and despite following wondering how to get it but that's a whole other story.

Otherwise feel drunk really disorientated and drunk

Stand up, wobble, stagger, fall over. Drag myself up again repeat.

Collapsed on sofa not daring to get up now. Everything is spinning about.

Not sick or headachey just feel seriously drunk and exhausted. Hoping good sleep wll help

Am 25+2

Vision ok? Anaemia could be a cause, might be worth phoning midwife for advice and to get blood test.

Thistledew · 27/04/2012 13:23

That sound serious. If you have not already done so, call NHS direct immediately. Dizziness can be a sign of dangerously high blood pressure.

faintpinkline · 27/04/2012 13:25

Just home. Spent an hour being monitored and resting. Blood sugar low, bp low but baby absolutely fine. They made me eat and and let me home but want me to go back in tomorrow for more checks. Feeling completely washed out and exhausted but relieved. Think they only let me home because neighbour has medical back ground and has promised to pop in a few times before I go back tomorrow and to make me come back if she thinks I need to (so lucky she's lovely).

Thank goodness you're ok

Now rest tonight, and call neighbour asap if you feel bad ok?

Let us know how it goes tomorrow Thanks

faintpinkline · 27/04/2012 20:51

My neighbour just popped in and insisted on me letting her take my blood pressure and check my blood sugar (amazed how much equipment she has at home!!) - they've both gone up and she says she's happy to let me stay at home for now as long as I rest properly. (bossy neighbour Grin )

That'a great neighbour you've got there :) glad you're being looked after and hope you feel better/it goes all ok tomorrow. Brew

McPhee · 27/04/2012 21:36

Good. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

Try and get some sleep ok x

sharond101 · 27/04/2012 22:31

My cousin had something very similar and it was down to her working strange shifts and not eating regularly enough. Maybe small meals regularly might help stop it happening again?

faintpinkline · 28/04/2012 15:32

I went in again this morning. They rechecked my blood sugar which is still low but within normal limits and found my blood pressure back more or less to normal. They monitored baby again, gave me a cup of hot sweet tea and sent me home with instructions to eat regularly, get lots of rest and phone them if I think anything at all is wrong.

Thank you all for being so lovely barely remember much of yesterday it was an odd day

McPhee · 28/04/2012 16:33
