sicky burps, mild schizophrenia and an elbow in my bladder

36 weeks tomorrow and I'm a freak.

Are sicky burps and indigestion two different things?! Sorry for slight TMI but really, it's grim and I'm wondering whether to go and stock up on Gaviscon.

My hormones are MENTAL. I cry at everything. Things which I haven't thought about for years and which I don't really care about make me cry. The TV makes me cry. DH makes me cry (and angry). My mad parents make me cry. How much I love toddler DS makes me cry. My general frustration with everything and everyone makes me cry. When it happens it's like my head splits into two - there's the 'normal' me which is thinking dear god, you're being ridiculous; and the pregnant me which feels it anyway and can't snap out of it just like that.

And please, PLEASE baby will you lift your elbow off my bladder? I'm walking everywhere as if I've got a severe UTI, it's really awkward and unpleasant. No number of trips to the toilet can relieve it.

Speaking of which, does anyone else find the constant baby twisting, wriggling prodding, poking, pushing and general disregard for your internal organs exhausting? I know it's amazing but it's painful and... tiring.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh I genuinely think I get off quite lightly in pregnancy but it's sending me a bit nuts this week. Just wanted to rant really!

Aaah, I remember those days!

In another 20 years you too will be able to look back fondly at how irrational your hormones made you (I can remember crying quietly to myself, convinced that DH was having an affair with the office lesbian).

And memorising where each and every public toilet was on even the shortest trip out.

It won't be long and your little one will be here - then you can start a whole new rant about different stuff!
