Due today!!! (TMI warning!)

My lovely little baby is due today but is making no definite signs of wanting to come out. Yesterday I had slight period pains but they've gone now. Earlier today I sat down and actually felt a bit of mucus squidge out 'down there'. There was a large teaspoon sized dollop but it wasn't blood stained.

Please someone tell me that these are signs that things might eventually get moving!

Sounds like that was part of the show (you might get more!). That could mean its starting, I had it 12 hrs before DD arrived OR you might have to wait a few days. There are no rules for this one I'm afraid.

My due date was yesterday. I too have lost my plug but was over past couple of weeks, although yesterday I started losing bits of blood in it. with period cramps. Good luck I hope it is baby coming for you! some people lose there plug and have contractions within the next 24 hours. Try and stay relaxed (hard I know lol) xx

My due date is today although my period date is not till the 1st May so probably won't be till then. Show is good sign and so are the period cramps get bouncing on your birthing ball if you have one that did it for me with my last one after I had a show. Good luck.

I lost a similar dollop of my plug with DD on her due date and was very hopeful that labour was imminent, but I'm afraid she was still 9 days overdue . Good luck and fingers crossed you won't have to wait as long .
