Where to find pasteurised Feta?

I'm new here so apologies if this has been done before

I'd really like to make a big Greek salad but haven't been successful in finding any Feta clearly marked as being pasteurised

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Sainsburys do one, it is clearly marked on the front as made from pastorised... I can't remember the make/name but think the packet may be navy blue....

I think most of the feta (or 'salad cheese') in packets is OK isn't it?

I think as Flisspaps says, most of it is ok. Pretty sure the Alpetina one is ok, sure I ate fair amounts of it when pregnant with DS anyway with no ill effects. Waitrose own brand feta is definitely pasturised, and I would have thought most of the other supermarket own brands are too - more likely to be the more "artisan" style ones rather than mainstream IYSWIM that aren't.

I did however discover the other day that not all the cheeses say pasturised specifically when they are - the packet of halloumi I was ripping into at speed stated "heat treated milk" under the ingredients!

Tesco do one too, and so does ASDA. Was so happy when I discovered it!

One of the first things I asked my midwife was about Feta I love the stuff. She said it is ok.

Feta is fine!

Check the NHS website for foods that are ok, there's very little not recommended/restricted
