What is best?? I have been donated a fixed side cot, but always thought I would prefer a drop side one-what are your thoughts/opinions either way??

i find fixed side better, just from my own experience... bending over that little bit further to put them down might hurt your back a little if they are huge or if you have back trouble, but thats is better than them waking up again as you "click" the side back up... or are they quieter these days? im not risking it lol

I thought fixed side cots were meant to be safer these days.
But, I am 5ft 1 and cannot put a sleeping baby in one as I cannot reach the bottom.

I had a drop side and didn't use the drop side function. Mine did have an adjustable base which was very useful.
