E.Coli urinary tract infection

I am 12 weeks and have just been told that I have an E. Coli urinary react infection. I have been started on cefadroxil. I am worried that the infection and/ or antibiotics will affect the baby. Anyone have any experience please? Thank you.

I had the same around 20 weeks pregnant and I've had 4 more since (I'm now 36 week) the antibiotics should clear it up pretty quick and they are forever testing your urine.. I wouldn't worry

Hello, am currently in hospital having Antibiotics and fluids by a drip due to my 5th e coli urinary infection this pregnancy-have gad 4previous courses of antibiotics. Baby is absolutely fine (29+6) and they are just getting the fluids and antibiotics into me so I feel better. Hope you feel better soon and that it's just a 1off for you
