Sorry its a bit tmi.. Doesn anyone else really struggle to wipe yourself after going to the toilet, for either wee or poo? I feel as though I'm trapping baby inbetween my legs and its actually hurts! Baby is fully engaged and resting on cervix. I really am finding it hard to wipe myself! Everytime I go to the toilet and its driving me insane! DS1 never engaged until during labour, this is DS2 and was fully engaged weeks ago but just seems to feel lower and lower as days go! I actually felt like I was walking around with a head hanging out yesterday!

Could one shower oneself clean?

I'm 39+6 and understand completely.

I too am fully engaged and 2-3cm dilated and it currently feels like i'm walking with a coconut between my thighs Blush

I've taken to using baby wipes as it'a easier and less painful when wiping, maybe that may help you too?? I've got some lovely peppa pig ones!!! :o

Console yourself with the fact that it will not be for much longer, and you know how sore it is to pee or poo afterwards so maybe we're moaning too premamturely!!!

Lol well I haven't got a shower, just a bath! I am able to wipe myself a lot easier after a poo, its particularly wee! And I can't use baby wipes on me as I hate the feeling of them being wet! Its the whole bending over kinda thing. I haven't got a huge bump anyway. At 35 weeks I was 1cm..getting checked on monday! Hoping somethings different! Sure feels it lol.

Ah im finding getting to the bum end incresingly challenging. i have to hold my breath to fold myself in half enough to reach. Glamourous affair having babies isnt it!

you can get specific gadgets for holding some loo paper .... bit like padded sticks . But tbh for such a short period I would take an old kitchen utensil like a wooden spoon and wrap the loo roll round it loosly to pat dry . You can then get it off by flushing it.
