It seems my toddler has come home from nursery with a nice case of slapped cheek.

I'm nearly 26 weeks pg so I am having bloods done to check my immunity and stuff.

Does anyone else have any experience of this? Should I be avoiding other pg women just in case I am not immune and have caught it?

Hi, I had this a few months back. I was just under 20 weeks, which is when the risk to the baby is higher. Thankfully my blood tests came back as clear, and I was protected, but it was a bloody long stressful week of waiting!
I'm not sure if it can or can't be passed on third party, unless you are infected? It might be best to air on the side of caution until you've at least been given the all clear, but do keep your DS away if possible.

DS will be at home and off nursery until he is better (and they are happy to have him back), I was more thinking about pg yoga and stuff. It worries me a bit because I read the rash only comes out at the end of the infection, so he may have been spreading his germs all over for 2 weeks. I don't think we have been in contact with any early pregnancies though.

Too late. I did stop reading when I was reading about joint pain as a symptom and thinking "ooh I have joint pain". Of course you do you silly mare, you have arthritis and you are pregnant.
