Sex during period

Im not sure if this is the right place to post this but I am a bit scared and would like some quick advice.

I am on the pill and my period is late. Last month I had unprotected sex during the seven day break when I was bleeding. It suddenly occurred to me that perhaps you're not meant to do this and this nmight have caused a pregnancy. Can anyone help?

I think it is fine in the seven day break, which pill are you on? If you think you may be pregnant you need to take a test to put your mind at rest but if you have been taking it properly you are unlikely to be pregnant, although no form of contraception is 100%. How many days late are you? Can you get a test today? At least then you know one way or the other, good luck!

Although no pill is 100% effective. It's very,very unlikely that you would become pregnant in the 7 day break, as long as you have been taking your pill every day.

If you've been missing multiple pills, especially just before your pill free week the chances are higher that you potentially could ovulate.
