Dark armpits....

has anyone else developed dark armpits?

I'm 41 weeks today and I shave them every day but they look really dark like they need a good shave!

My nipples have gone big and dark so I assume it's something to do with those hormones.

Just never heard of it before!!

Haven't heard of it but your post reminded me of what 2.6 yo DD said thi morning - 'Mummy, you've got lovely soft fur in your armpit. You're just like a cat.'

I think I need to get the razor out!!

I got that, and a darkish pigment all around the nipple that literally rubbed away after the birth! The armpits faded pretty quickly, along with my tummy line.

No idea about this in pregnancy but its a common symptom in pcos as well as around the groin area due to hormones so its probably hormonal too.

It's so annoying I'm huge so I just want to wear maxi dresses but I've got my pits stick together because they look horrible!!
