TMI - sorry but need advice please

I am 12 weeks pregnant with my second baby & last weekend I noticed some brown discharge (warned you- sorry)... The midwife, when I phoned said it was 'old blood' & not to worry. But on/off I have noticed my discharge change - which never happened in my first pregnancy. Its sometimes darker than other times. Am I being silly or could there be a problem? Sorry again for TMI

If it's brown, not heavy and it's not accompanied by cramps, there's unlikely to be a problem. Do you have a scan coming up? Sometimes they can reveal a blood clot that's being discharged :)

Thanks for reply fluffy. There's no other symptoms & my scan is early next week.

If you're MW is pretty calm about it, I'd hang fire for the scan - if it gets heavy, you get crampy, or it turns red, call your MW back or phone the EPU, though :)
