Hello mums and mums to be.
I have been compiling The Truth About Pregnancy, all the things you were never told and few people talk about.
You can find mine here wp.me/p1WvDj-4M and I'd love to hear yours, whether on my blog or here!
In the spirit of sharing I'm open to any questions! It's time the truth was told x

Pregnancy does not like me, I get so big that I have to endure diabetes test and growth scans.. unusual stretch marks that actually pop out and itch SO badly, nose bleeds, leg cramps, leaky nips at 14 weeks, pelvis that feels like it's going to break, false labours, anaemia, fatigue but thank goodness I was never sick.. only the feeling nauseous, hormonal episodes :) Oh the list goes on. I never got cravings either, however not being able to eat certain foods... yuk.
But the WORST thing about pregnancy was the fact that you seem tobecome public property, strangers coming up and just laying their hands on your belly... wtf??? If they had asked, ok I'd be a little creeped out bt wouldn't turn them away but to just grope your stomach...?

Things I loved... knowing I had a little person growing inside of me, the kicking and moving is so odd but lovely, although it's stranger when you can see and feel it as opposed to just feeling it.

It was worth it in the end though... I have 2 gorgeous, healthy girls. :)

ah dear, in the same way that labour is called labour, pregnancy should be called endurance! Thanks for sharing your story, gorgeous and healthy is a happy ending x
