I've just read somewhere that you aren't meant to paint during pregnancy and I've recently spent a couple of days painting and glossing stairs etc. thinking about it the paint smell was quite strong despite the windows being open.
I'm Worried that I may have done some harm.... !?!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

You won't have at all, honestly don't be worrying.

I think most paints these days don't have the toxins in they used to - I decorated with my first and all was fine.

We make a lot of paint at work. Occ Health did the full check on every chemical we used, and didn't have a problem with me continuing working.
Its fine. Baby is fine. Hope you enjoy the rest of your pregnancy.

It's normal, it's just implantation and your uterus stretching :)

Bah. The first two weeks account for conception. In the next three, I doubt baby is connected to you yet. Mums get up to a whole lot before finding out they are pregnant, especially all the naughty things we are not supposed to ingest :)

And I am guessing a fair few paint their nurseries well into their 2nd trimesters. As long as your body says it is fine, you should be ok. If you ever feel faint, just grab a chair and don't push it.

Why does that dulux ad have that heavily pregnant woman painting then? :)

I'm sure you're ok mytime
