I'm lying here feeling some little pops and flutterings - am I imagining it?! 14 weeks pregnant with my second....

Am excited but hope you won't all tell me it's just wind!

12 weeks on the nose with number 2 and an anterior placenta. Until about week 16 I only felt him sporadically and not daily.

Florin · 19/04/2012 07:06

16 weeks with my first

ToxicToria · 19/04/2012 07:10

17 weeks but I have been told you can feel second babies earlier

Impatientwino · 19/04/2012 08:02

21 weeks for me! - could have been a few days into 20 weeks but wasn't sure if it was wind or the baby! Blush

blacktreaclecat · 19/04/2012 08:20

Lots of flutters from about 16w but first definite movement 19+4. first baby

blackteaplease · 19/04/2012 08:50

21 weeks with the first (thought it would never happen!) and 17 weeks with the second.

ProlificYoungGentlemenBreeder · 19/04/2012 09:00

Definitely before the 20 week scan with DS1 and 2.

16 weeks (1st baby). Sort of a popping/fluttering sensation. Midwife told me it was too early, as baby is only about 10cm or something, but I knew what it was and several weeks later the popping started turning into tiny kicks.

Clararara · 19/04/2012 12:36

I'm pretty sure I've felt this the last couple of days. 18+1 today. I'm really gassy so up until now I've assumed everything is wind, or that I'm imagining it. Everything vaguely fluttery I have assumed to be wind, but then I felt, kind of like a very gentle tap from the inside. I knew it wasn't wind because of the position, and it felt different. First noticed it at about 17+5 when driving. Then later that day at work sitting through a boring training session. I haven't felt it often though, a couple of times a day. Look forward to it being more obvious.

15wks both times. 18+1 now and have been able to see from the outside for a few days now. DH can feel it too.

18 weeks first
13.5 weeks second
12.5 weeks third (although the midwife said that it isnt possible- rubbish!)

Cosmo89 · 19/04/2012 15:10

Somewhere between 14 and 15 weeks- like yours, little pops but definitely baby.

GinPalace · 19/04/2012 15:15

With my first it was 21 weeks for sure though with hindsight it was a bit sooner but as I had a placenta at the front I am told that means you feel it later as more of the sensations are there.

I can't wait with this one - currently 14 weeks-ish - I love the feeling and like you're baby is with you (duh!) IYSWIM

sparklekitty · 19/04/2012 18:29

14 to 15 week with my first, started at little flutterings and feelings like a twitchy muscle. Now feeling kicks and prods at 17 weeks x

oikopolis · 19/04/2012 20:56

i am slim, posterior placenta, and felt first movements (almost like a muscle twitch) from 16 weeks. this is my first pg that's got this far so nothing to compare it to really. (18 weeks now)

def didn't feel anything before that. during 12 week scan, during which they found out i was actually measuring 14 weeks, babe was moving like crazy in there but i felt not a thing.
