34 weeks and stabbing pain - anyone else?

Hi,
Am 34 weeks and keep getting a sharp, take your breath away pain inside. It does feel internal, similar to smear test discomfort so I think it's cervix. Had it last week and it was over in a second. This week it's lasting a few seconds. It's worse when I'm up on my feet and eases if I sit down. Midwife doesn't seem concerned, she thinks its just baby's head moving down.
Anyone had this?

Hiya, I'm 37 weeks and I get this too.

Often it meets up with a sharp pain in my belly button too!

It's quite common, don't worry! It's baby's head working its way down hitting a few nerves on your cervix on the way. It's all good signs Smile I remember having these pains in tesco with a few worried glances my way as I was scared to move! Hehe Blush
