Just that really.

The school run is torture with constant questions, 'any signs? When do you think it will come? Have you produced yet? Really hate that last one.

Feel like shouting does it look like it or yes but I forgot to bring the baby home with me!

I just smile sweetly of course.

Sorry rant over :(

Oh you poor thing! I feel the same and am only 28 weeks so can't imagine how you feel. Think I might lock myself away for the remaining 12 weeks so I don't have to deal with people!

It is awful especially as I'm not due until Sunday anyway.

What to say as responses:

"any signs?"- Yes, I heard a whisper from my vagina saying Jesus is coming.

"When do you think it will come?"- I have had a little leakage, so my waters could break any minute (stand over persons shoes)

"Have you produced yet?"- Yes.
"Where is the baby?"- ebay.

I'm feeling the same I'm 40+6 today with my first, booked in for an induction on mon if there's no sign by then!

I'm getting at least 10 texts and 5 calls a day it's driving me mad, my aunty phoned me this morning and I told her the latest then she phoned my dad to ask where the baby was?!!

Little tinker hasn't got a clue what a fuss she's causing x

milk Grin hilarious responses!

Yup, I had this too with DS, and as I was quite nervous about going overdue and wanting to avoid induction, I got quite cross about the constant harassment - mostly from ex's DM.

I guess comments and queries from those parents at school can't be fended off in the same way as the phone calls from family (which can be met with an audible heavy sigh and "no, baby isn't here yet, we will be sure to let you know, so in the meantime, we're trying to relax" hint hint!)

Perhaps you should go with milk's suggestions after all! Grin

It's a nightmare isn't it, I'm only 37+4 but I'm already being asked constantly and it really does get on your nerves, I keep trying to remind myself that people mean well but the people that keep asking if baby is here yet annoy me most, if I had had the baby I would have let people know! And yes I am uncomfortable and no I can't wait until he's here and don't tell me to eat spicy curry/pineapple/have sex/bounce up and down etc because baby isn't coming til he's ready and funnily enough nobody is as keen to meet him as I am! Sorry, rant over!

I know people mean well but I had about ten texts by 8 this morning.

Obviously I would have told people he baby had been born.

My calm gritted teeth response atm is I'm feeling fine actually, and quite happy for baby to stay put for a while yet as i'm dreading the getting it out part.

This is partly true, but at the same time the wondering of when will it happen is driving me insane, this is number 4 and 2 of my dcs had arrived by now.

Think my polite responses will gradually get more blunt as the days pass by. Re the inducing labour advice, mIl is driving me mad pining to tell me what Indian I should be having for my dinner as she is going away at the weekend so I need to have the baby before grr. I agree labour will start mien it's starts not after a vinda-bloody-loo! Sorry another rant
