21 week scan what to expect?

Hi have my scan on friday and i will be 21 weeks. Im not to sure what to expect...
We dont want to find out the sex but in my hospital there is a TV on the wall where we usually watch our baby move about - am I likely to see baby's sex should I ask them to switch sceen off?

Just tell the sonographer when you go into the room that you dont want know what the sex of the baby is. Sometimes they will ask but that all depends on where you are in the country. However if you tell her in advance that you dont not wish to know, then while she is going thru the various checks she can ensure that you do not see "anything" that maybe accidentally be shown hehe. Although you'd have to be an expert to see whats what sometimes! =) Just enjoy it and you'll be amazed at the difference since the 12 week scan..so lovely to seem them moving about sooo much more...ya come out buzzing! Aww thanks Stef! I will tell her straight away. At our first 12 week scan baby was to sleepy to get proper tests etc done so we had to go back a week later and the difference in size and how much it moved was amazing so I cant wait for what Friday will hold.

Yeah sometimes that happens..my little monkey moved around so much on the 20 week scan that she couldnt complete the heart checks so I had to go back again within a few weeks.....annoying for them..but it meant that I got to see him again so brill for me! =)
