Am 38 wks and still going strong! Buy a kite Grin
Sorry, no advice!

Um, when you give birth!

juneau · 17/04/2012 21:02

Advice - avoid broccoli, cauliflower, beans, chickpeas, etc. Drink mint tea.

It's just one of those horrible pregnancy things though - to a large degree there really isn't much you can do about it. My poor DH used to have to leave the room!

After birth based on experience with DS1. Currently 39 weeks and still going strong this pg and can't wait for it to stop.

Agree with trying to minimise consumption of wind stimulating foods and drinks (esp. carbonated things etc.)

I blame it on my husband. :)

It's embarrassing in polite company though.

I think the dried figs, prunes and apricots I'm eating to keep me regular are probably adding to it!

I've heard if you chew your food thoroughly it's not as bad, but I don't know if that's true.

I am nearly 33 weeks and mine is as bad as ever!! DH is away so at least I don't have to worry about anyone else enduring it, think the dog is getting pretty sick of it though!! I am keeping my fingers crossed that things go back to normally once baby is here!
