Okay, am cringeing posting this but hoping some non-first-timer can help. Did anyone have sweet smelling discharge when pregnant? Had it last weekend, like water (soaked underwear Blush), very sweet smell. Discharge and pressure went away after 2 days. Had AN appt on Fri, bean thriving, measuring a week bigger.

Fast forward to today - horrible feeling of pressure as if bean pressing on cervix, more sweet smelling discharge, underwear soaked again. Googled and petrified it's amniotic fluid. Going to EPU tomorrow.

Has anyone else had this and it's just sweet-smelling pee / something else harmless?

Oh - and keep needing to pee. Would just assume it was bean jumping on bladder if it wasn't for the sweet smell.

Does it have to be EPU? Can you not go to day assessment unit at hospital now?

Angelico · 16/04/2012 21:11

Well they booked me in to gynae tomorrow for the EPU clinic.

Should I be panicking?!

There's never any point panicking. I just wondered whether you could be seen more quickly but it does depend how far along you are.

To be honest I would give NHS direct a call and see what they say.

Natasha what were you warned in relation to? Was it leaking AF? Who warned you? Confused
