it is normal to have the dull ache on my lower back and lower abdomen? as this is my 3rd baby and ive had Bh before but only on my abdomen and not as strong and achy.

I'd be getting checked out if I were you, In theory BH are not supposed to hurt, of course in practice they can cause discomfort but if they are strong and achy, I'd be assuming they were real contractions and getting someone to take a lot. Worst case scenario you have some evil BH's and are sent home, better that than premature labour.

hi......been for my check up and said that the baby is celp op (head down & back to back?) so that explained the back aches......

ill be getting my hot water bottle out from now on Wink

Not sure what the long part refers to although you're right about the rest of it if I remember correctly. Both my boys favored being back to back and were both born that way., fingers crossed baby doesn't get too comfy in that position for too long! Backache was one of my least favorite pregnancy pains, that and feet under ribs. Glad to hear you had no problems though.
Hope the rest of the pregnancy goes smoothly for you.
