I've asked this before, did you feel different before labour?

I'm 40+4 and I just feel normal every day like nothing is going to happen!

We're you like this and it randomly kicked off or did you feel 'different'/know something was going on?

It randomly kicked off both times. Hope it does for you soon too.

I was 17 days overdue before i popped And everyday I was looking for something different. But then it just started out of the blue

milly I was absolutely convinced I would be pregnant until 41+6 and then with no warning contractions started at 38 wks. Did have braxton hicks though from week 30ish but they hadn't changed much.

Lol I'm the other way round, was convinced I'd have her at 38/39 weeks and I'm still sat here!

Got a sweep tomorrow so hopefully that will do something, keep getting twinges but they wear off

Yep, I felt normal and like nothing was going to happen up until the night of 40+4, I think it was. THat night I was up in the night with regular period-like pains but they disappeared in teh morning. However, I knew something had changed, I was having a bit of a show etc, more tightenings too. I went into labour proper at 40+6.

That was with my first. I remember very specifically feeling like I would just go on being pregnant forever, even after a sweep at 40+3.

You just think you will have this big bump forever don't you lol

Hopefully things will get moving tomorrow x
