Just feeling a bit fed up. I'm 30w tomorrow, had pubic and occasional back pain since about 22/23 weeks. Me and OH had to go to town this morning and the pain was so much worse than normal - ended up doing more of a waddle and walking at a snail's pace to try and avoid making it any worse. I'm really hoping this is a one off rather than the pain deciding to up itself to the next level, I've remained sitting since getting back but know as soon as I stand up or move it is going to hurt again.

I think I'll send the LO an eviction notice for 37weeks precisely, no extra hanging around please.

My sympathies to you kipper.. hope it's just a one-off really bad day.
No experience with SPD, though had some nasty sciatica since about 30 weeks and it's crap how limping along seems to make everything else hurt more- think it must throw your body even more out alignment or something.
Do you think LO might be lying differently today?
Am liking the eviction idea. Just gone 37 weeks and LO still still seeming very comfy.
Hope you can get some relief:)

Poor you DizzyKipper! I can sympathise as had bad pelvic pain and sciatica in the buttock. A day at the shops was a nightmare. I saw the gp and physio and was basically told you're pregnant, rest etc. I was worried it was SPD and would only get worse. However now feel sooo much better, it may have just been a nerve, way baby was lying.
So hopefully this is a pain that will get better for you also.
