There goes my waters!!!!!

So as Friday 13th comes to an end my waters have just broken!!! just got into bed and they just started coming out. Me and my partner decided to stay at my mums tonight. He's currently asleep, my mums running about the house getting bags packed and trying to find socks and I'm in the bath.
Wow im currently excited but wondering what happens now?

Wish me luck

Hehe I'm having a baby :)

Hiya thanks for all your messages. I'm currently strapped up to a monitor. All waters have gone but still not getting any contractions. Will be sent home in an hour or so. Have been told to sleep and eat and just wait for something to happen.
all pretty dull so far lol

Good luck Smile babies do sometimes have good timing.. There were 3 babies born during my DH corps last afghan tour all during the 2 week r&r !! Go baby Smile

Good luck for ctx starting shortly - fantastic timing that baby decided to make an appearance as soon as DP got back so you get maximum time as a family

Hiya still nothing happening. just had an acupuncture session to hopefully induce labour naturally. baby's heartbeat was very strong & he was moving about like usual so showing no signs of being distressed Grin I'm just trying to rest and sleep now.

Sounds like my labour hayley try to get on syntocin sooner rather than later. I found that 3 rounds of prostin didn't help get labour going and just extended my hospital stay and made me knackered. The drip will get things going. Don't be afraid to take the epidural. When the contractions get going, you may need relief, as your body is being told what to do instead of doing it itself.
