I am 39 + 4 and have been to midwife today

She tells me baby is head down but not engaged. I am in for a sweep next Thursday but I am so upset that I don't think baby I'd now going to come in time and I don't want to be induced!

I'm bouncing on the birthing ball and I'm waking a lot and keeping active.

What else can I do? I had a growth scan 2 weeks ago and baby was 6lb 13 and I'm petrified baby is going to be huge and cause me issues through labour

Firstly stop stressing that's not going to help, keep walking bouncing and relaxing. As long as you feel well in yourself and you can feel the baby moving regularly you will be fine. It's in there and at some point it will be out. The more you worry about it the harder it will be. Try and go with the flow!!!! Good luck.
